Porsche Repair: clutch, clutch slave cylinder, brake master cylinder

the clutch in my 1987 porsche 944 is messed up and i dont know why, it is sticking to the floor and it wont even shift the gears in my car,you can pull it all the way up or you can push it to the floor,i need to know how to fix it ,do you know how to fix it

Hi aj,

There's only one way your symptom can happen...and that's a leaking hydraulic line.  The issue which complicates it for you 944 drivers is that the clutch slave cylinder is mounted on the firewall below the brake master cylinder and they share the same fluid reservoir.   So...one or both could be leaking.  From under the car, the slave cylinder can be reached after removing the starter.  If you get that far, you might as well replace it, right?
