hi my problem is i was on the highway running great got off started out it would bairley take off it finally took off got to a red light it did it again got it home shut it off came back later it was a little hard to start it started at 500 rpm i gave it gas it went up to 1000 rpm and would not take no more gas any help would be greatful

Hi Allen,

Just based on what you've said I suspect a blown head gasket.  To check this do a compression test on each cylinder.  The results should all be similar or within 10% of each other.  For example:  145, 140, 135, and 140 is OK.
145, 140, 75, and 140 is BAD and is what you might find.

There are other possibilities, especially fuel injection related, buit Id check the compression first.
