Porsche Repair: rebuilt cylinder head, quastion, cylinder head

hi Dave,
i have a quastion that not lots of mechanics from here could answear to me...i have rebuilt my cylinder head(only new valves and they correct the cylinder head) for my 944, 2.5l about 6 month ago but i ask that men who did that job if after few km (500-100 km) i need to go back to re  scrabble the nut for head stud valves..and he told me that it is not necessary.now im asking u,it is important to rescrabble the nut?if i had to,it is too late if i will do it now?

Hi Daly,

I would go with the recommendation of the folks who did the work.  Many newer engine designs allowed for initial torque tightness be to sufficient...leaving it unnecessary for the bolts to be retorqued after so many miles...which inconvenienced the customers.  I think you'll be allright.
