Porsche Repair: size for a crankshaft pully bolt, crankshaft pulley, pulley bolt

What size is the crankshaft pully bolt? There is a bolt missing on my recently purchased 1984 Porsche 944. I believe it's called the crankshaft pully bolt. It is the the bolt on the pully that drives the belt for the power steering pump. I need the bolt size in order to replace it.

Hi Suzanne...a missing crankshaft pulley bolt...now that's mighty interesting.  And you recently purchased the car.  Does that mean you purchased it without a test drive...or you drove the car with this bolt missing.  I don't see that either is very wise.

Anyway...you're going to want to buy the Porsche-engineered bolt, not just any bolt of the right size...so...go to your nearest friendly Porsche dealer and ask for the bolt...that way you'll get the right one for your car.
