RV Repair: Converter on 1999 Nomad 32ft RV, unpluged, differance

Question
My husband would like to know where the converter is located on/in our travel trailer so that he can unplug it.  We have the trailer set up permanently in a park, hooked up to electricity. We recently bought this trailer and it is using twice as much electricity as our old 1985 one.  Husband feels it's because the converter is continually charging.  He had the converter unpluged on our old trailer, but can't find it on this newer one.

Answer
there could be a few reasons for this
there is a 14 year differance in the two trailers
your looking at newer bigger a/c,refer prolly larger tv and microwave all uses more power
follow the shore cord into the trailer the converter should be in a cabinet or under a bed its a brown box.
