RV Repair: Septic smell, school of hard knocks, smelly problem

I have a 99 Coachman Catalina RV. The problem that i have is when we start traveling down the road we begin to smell the Septic tank. My husband added something to the ceiling vent to help with the smell but it doesn't work. Do you have any ideas?

I love this question. From the school of hard knocks I have the answer. What you will need to do is close the black water valve and fill it up with water almost completely full.Than at some unique it has not caught on everywhere so if you cant find it let me know. Pour the whole quart in the tank and then let it set over night. put the unique in after the water. Drain the tank and put about 2 gallons of water in and then dome unique and you reay to go treat the black tank before every use and when you store it this will go away is a smelly problem but an easy fix
