RV Repair: changed house batteries from 12v to 6volt now no light or water pump, no 12 volt in rv Battery wiring

Question
I changed my batteries in my 1996 Pace arrow vision motorhome.  I went with 2  12 volt batteries with 2  6 volt batteries.  I went from a parallel hookup to a series hookup.  I now have no 12 volt in my coach, none of my 12 volt lights or water pump are working.  My  indicator on my stove does not light up at all when I push aux battery.  It just lights up when I push up start battery.  My battery shutoff above my door for both the aux and start batteries are clicking under my hood like normal.  I just have no 12 volt lighting inside the coach unless I plug my coach into the wall.  When I plug it in to shore power all 12 volt lights work and the battery indicator says the batteries are good for both house batteries and start battery.  Do you think that I tripped a circuit breaker under my hood or what do you think is going on?

Answer
Hi John,
Under the hood there is a "RV CUSTOMS" box with your fuses inside it. There are resettable 12 volt breakers along the bottom. If that doesn't fix it, use a test light to trace were your power stops. Let me know what you find and get back to me. Good luck.
