RV Repair: water heater wont stay lit, thermocouple, water heater

I have an Atwood Brand water heater model #G6a-7.  It will light, but won't stay lit.

Bill, You say it will light but won't stay lit. Is this the pilot that you are referring to? Does the pilot stay lit but not the burner? This will make a difference at what you want to look at. If the pilot won't stay lit you might want to look at the thermocouple. If the burner doesn't stay lit you may want to look at the pressure. If you have changed the thermocouple and no good has come then you will want to replace the valve. If this is the trouble it is probably one of the blue valves as they tend to go out more.
