RV Repair: Dometic RM2652, vertical tube, problem thanks

Hello!  I recently purchased a 2000 Mallard by Fleetwood 24J trailer with a Dometic RM2652 fridge in it.  I just plugged it in and it doesn't seem to be running on AC.  It seems ok on LPG. Any suggestion?  Where is the control board located if that is the problem?  Thanks for your help!

Jeff, You will need to go outside and open up the plastic panel that covers the rear of the refer. Then look for the round vertical tube on the right side usually. There will be 2 wires going to a rod that goes inside that tube. This is the 110 element. It hooks to the board on the left side. Open the board up and you can test for 110 going in and out of the board with a meter. If there is power in but not out then it is the board. Otherwise it is something else, like no power to the board or power to both sides would mean the element is bad. If it is the power board I recommend putting a dinosaur micro P-711 as they have the best warranty out there as far as I am concerned. I hope this helps, Bill
