RV Repair: leaky toilet, leaky toilet, right position

Question
The toilet in my 1973 prowler 23' camper leaks when I flush  it.  How do I remove the toilet to replace the seal that I suspect is leaking?

John, I am guessing that you probably have an aqua magic galaxy or starlite toilet since you are having trouble finding the nuts. The first place to look is under the pedal at about 5:00 and the second place is behind and to the left in about the 11:00 position. You should see a plug on that side that you can take out and with a long extension you can pull that nut. If not then you should be able to reach around and get it that way as well. If you replace the toilet the only one that will bolt the same way that one did is a thetford bravura. Any other one you will have to move the flange to the right position. I hope this helps, Bill
