RV Repair: Dometic 2652, vertical tube, slide control

Question
We recently had the recall issue of the fridge worked on.  I went to turn the fridge on to go camping and the fridge is not cooling.  The freezer is cold, but not freezing.  I have moved the slide control all the way up in the fridge on the fins.  Any ideas, what could be wrong?  Thank you!

Answer
Kim, Be sure that you check to see that you are level. By that I mean put a sound level in the freezer bottom to see that you are level. The refrigerator needs to be within 3 degrees of level so have at least 3/4 of the bubble inside of the circle. From there if it is level then you can go out to the back side and pull the cover off the black box located in the lower right. Once the cover is off make sure that you unplug the 110 cord from the wall socket so no power is getting to the refer. Then you will see 2 wires going from the control board to the round vertical tube on the right. These 2 wires are actually going to the 110 heater. Unplug them from the board and get an extension cord that you have cut one end off and connect it to the wires. Put wire connectors on to get a good connection. Then once you have them hooked plug the other end in to the wall plug. This will bypass all the controls and force it to run full out. Leave this like that for a week and check a few  times a day to make sure it is cooling. If it makes it through the week then it is in the controls and the cooling unit is good. Try this and let me know what your findings are and we can go from there. Thanks, Bill
