RV Repair: Atwood furnace, water leak, furnace

The fan on my Atwood furnace (8520 iv) will not shut off... It was working just fine but something happened and now it just keeps running. The heat will come on and bring the trailer to temp but the fan just keeps running. I did have a water leak that dripped down on the furnace. Also, In checking I noticed that there are two wires, a blur from the furnace and a smaller white that are not connected to anything. One had a connector cap (blue one)but it was not connected to any other wire... Also, how do I get into the box to replace the ignition board if that the problem?

Les, It sounds to me like the igniter board has failed. The board you have should also control the fan. Before changing it I would first try disconnecting the wires that go to the T-Stat and see if it keeps running. If so then the board is bad and needs replaced. To do this there should be a cover on the outside that comes off with 4 screws. Remove that cover and you should see the board on the left side under the cover. Thanks, Bill
