RV Repair: onan generator has no spark

i checked spark with tester and it had spark..then the next time i try nothing..could it be ignition coil?

Tony, It very well may be the coil but you can check it out with a meter and see if it is giving spark. This could also be something other than that like the plugs not firing under pressure, if you were using the plug attached to the side to check for spark. It is hard to tell you what this might be without knowing how you determined that there was no spark. I hope that this is of some help. Thanks, Bill
