RV Repair: 10 Gallon Atwood Water Heater GC10A-4E, 5th wheel, wire connections

Our water heater will not heat when the electrical switch is on.  We replaced the thermostat and it worked temporarily for a few days.  Our 5th wheel is 4 years old.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Ken, I would try checking the element for continuity and if it is there then check backwards from there. If this is one with 2 wire connections on the board then there is a relay in the rear that might be giving you trouble..The way that one works is when you turn on the switch it engages the relay and puts power to the element. Thanks, Bill Also there should be a thermal overload connected to the T-Stat and this might have gone bad as well.
