Question
WHERE THE FILL HOSE GOES INTO THE TOP OF THE FRESH WATER TANK,THE NIPPLE THATS ON THE TANK CRACKED OFF.I WAS ABLE TO PUT A CORK IN WITH WHAT IS LEFT STICKING UP,BUT ITS NOT ENOUGH TO HOOK THE HOSE BACK ON,AND I CAN FILL FROM THE DIRECT WATER HOOKUP ON THE OTHER SIDE.MY QUESTION IS CAN THIS BE FIXED OR DOES TANK HAVE TO BE REPLACED.IF SO HOW DO YOU REPLACE TANK AND WHWRE DO I GET ONE FROM AND HOW MUCH SHOULD IT COST.IT IS A 60 GALLON TANK

Answer
Jeffrey, Yes this can be fixed. They make what are called spin fittings and they are what goes into the tank. You drill the hole and put these in a drill and spin them until they melt enough to get a good bond. Usually it is best to have this done by someone that has done this before. You can get the spin fittings at any r.v. repair shop or they can order them for you. They also make plugs so you can patch places, but if most of the fitting is there they may be able to cut it out enough but not too much to just replace the fitting. Thanks, Bill
