RV Repair: 1993 jayco 1206, jayco 1206, hot water heater

We had this little trailer and liked it, but have sold it to a friend.  We never used the hot water heater, but I would sure like to tell them how.  Do you have to light it?  What do you do to get hot water?  There's an internal shower on this trailer, and I know where the hot water heater is, but not how to get hot water!  We bought the trailer used.

Gana, On this year of trailer it should have a switch somewhere on the inside that turns the water heater on. Try and locate it and turn it on to see that it still works. If you look outside at the water heater and there is no pilot assembly then this is exactly what you have. Look outside behind the cover door and let me know what you see there. Thanks, Bill
