RV Repair: pop up camper ceiling repair, pop up camper, styrafoam

Question
I will be replacing my pop up camper ceiling, it has leaked in the seam (outside) under the AC unit. The entire ceiling needs to be replaced.. I see that there is styrafoam under the vinyl coated paneling. is there something i can glue these layers back to once i have removed the damaged boards. I will be replacing the entire ceiling.. Thanks for your help in advance

Neva, The best advice I can give you for this is to try some of whatever glue you decide on to see if it does any damage to the foam. 3 M makes a good glue that I just can't remember the name exactly, but if you look and ask someone at the store they should be able to tell you which one it is. You can also use Dicor water based glue by putting it on both surfaces and allow it to dry to tacky like you do with mule hide glue. Let it dry until it is just tacky to touch. Be sure that when you put the new panels up you make sure they are in the right place because you won't get another chance to do it.
