RV Repair: class C bunk water damage, minnie winnie, lamination

Question
I have a 2000 Minnie Winnie that leaked unnoticed in bunk area for 6-months/+. Bunk floor is buckling and water saturated, outside seams are pulling apart slightly. Damage is 99% contained to bunk area. I only have 25k miles on it and it's in A+ shape.  If I sell this without having the work done first, what would a logical discount be? $5000?...Thanx!

Answer
George, I am sorry but I am not really up on the selling end of coaches and just do the repairs. I can tell you this that to have that area fixed would cost at least the discount money you said and then some. Winnebago's get most of their strength from lamination and not structure. They really don't have alot of structure in there to use. The best advise I can give to you is to take it somewhere and get an estimate on the repair and see what it books at and make a better decision on where to go from there. Thanks, Bill
