RV Repair: class c overhang, aluminum shell, wood rot

wood rot in the floor of the overhang, side structure looks fine, about 2 feet of the plywood in the front corner is rotted. I was thinking of cutting out the rotted wood then replacing with new. I was going to use dowels or ??? what would you recommend. it is a 23 ft lindy aluminum shell

Try going back in the best way possible if it means framing in where you cut out adding gussets as needed. You will want to open the front up and see just what damage is in there as well. Remember that something caused the rot and that needs to be dealt with as well.
