RV Repair: rv repair -rubber hose at fill area leaks, heavy duty gloves, rv repair

Question
Hi!
I have a 98 damon Intruder. The black rubber hose-labeled marine Fuel-that has plumbers clamps on either end-has a crimp at the area closest to where gas is put into Rv-it leaks when fueling.I bought a section of hose-removed the clamps-how do you get the hose to come off?It appears to be stuck on the metal pipe---I am a woman -pretty handy with most things on my rv Id like to do this myself if I can. Thanks

Those fuel filler hoses can be tough to remove. The have some chemicals in them that turns to a sealant when it gets fuel on it. They have to be cut off at the pipe. I use an industrial duty box knife and heavy duty gloves.

Be careful
