RV Repair: Dometic RM2652, soda cans, thermistor

QUESTION: I have a 2004 Trail Lite with a dometic RM2652 which I can not get above 25-28 degrees, I installed a new Thirmistor to no avail. Thanks

QUESTION: That is in the refer.

ANSWER: If Thats the refer temp. Your working fine. Freezer temp should be below zero. 25-28 is the best you can ask for in the refer. Good Luck

QUESTION: It freezes eggs, milk, soda cans explode? I was thinking 37 to 39 degrees would be better. I have been turning it off and on as required to keep from freezing.

Opps. That's a bit low! Sorry. Have you tried sliding the thermistor down on the fin that it is mounted to? Also on some models there is a switch  marked "CLC". That is a way to shut the refer down before freeze up occurs. Not all models have the switch. Let me know.
