RV Repair: Suburban furnace quit working, suburban furnace, wall thermostat

Question
QUESTION: A few days ago I lit my furnace(Suburban SF42) to help against the cold. A few hours later I checked and the furnace had quit working. I am unable to turn it back on. I have checked the propane and it is ok. Have tried to get a drawing with no luck. Rv is a 2004 Prairie Schooner

ANSWER: Hi there.
David there are a few reasons that could happen...Battery voltage, air flow, propane pressure, fan speed, thermostat.
Is the fan running without heat? When you say quit working, does that mean the heat stopped or the fan stopped??

QUESTION: the fan will not come on.

Answer
Thanks David.
If the wall thermostat is for the furnace only, then its a two wire t-stat. You can remove it from the wall then disconnect the two wires from the two slot head screws and connect them together as a test. That should "prove out" the t-stat. Its low voltage so you can't get hurt. If the furn. fan runs, then its the t-stat,if nothing happens after the delay period (about 15 secs) then you need to get a test light and look for power at the fuse panel then to the furnace itself. If you have power at all of those spots then it sound like you may have lost a fan motor.
That would be time to get help as the unit needs to come out to get to the motor. Their no fun.
