RV Repair: broken cable, block and tackle, cable system

Question
I have a 1968 colman pop up that has a 2 front broken cable. 2 rare lifts elevate Can you give me a quick schooling on this subject?

Sorry, that one is not an easy story to tell. That cable system is a nightmare to work on. Its a winch and cable ...block and tackle system. You might not be able to replace the corner pulleys. Look close at the lifts and study them before you start pulling cable out. You'll need to understand how it lifts the telescopic segments. Good Luck.
