RV Repair: Dometic Fridge, flame on, thermal sensor

1996 Dometic Model 2607 ser 42300141
110 volt everything works good . When I switch to gas it starts(has flame) It may work for 2 mins or several hours then clunk , gas valve shuts off. How can I test the thermal sensor? It seems to have 0 ohms resistance hot or cold. It almost feels like it is faulty or the circuit board is shutting it down. Can I test this as well? Can you tell me the basic functioning of the circuit board? Thanks for you help.Erv

Which sensor are you refering to as the thermal sensor. Is it the one that senses the flame on the main burner. Please let me know which one you refering to. The other one is the temperature sensor which goes to the circuit board in reference. To check the resistance you would need a very reliable ohm meter.
