RV Repair: pop up lift system, advace, viking

i have a 1993 viking spirit 230.i was lifting it up and roof came down on it i believe cables may have broken.it well not crank up now. how difficult is it to repair and could it be a do it yourself job.and on average how much money will it cost for parts or to have someone do it. thank you in advace.

While a person CAN in theory do this repair at home, it is very difficult since you normally do not have a lift for the roof.

Parts are typically fairly cheap if you know what is broken.
as far as labor, that can only be deterimined by how much damage there is, and usually a broken cable tears up more than just a broken cable.
