RV Repair: outside shower, heritage units, jayco

Question
Garry,
I have a 2001 jayco heritage rainier. my wife broke the hose off of the outside shower and i am having some issues replacing the faucet. i can't figure out if the entire shower box would have to be replaced (which is rivited in place) or if it is just the faucet itself and how to get it out. any suggetions?

Thank you,
David Feil

Answer
David,
Unfortunately, on all of the Jayco Heritage units, you must drill out the pop rivets to get to the back of that faucet.  There is no access from the inside of the unit.

We currently have a problem in our shop locating one of those faucets for a unit we delivered, also has a broken one, and we are waiting for Jayco to give us an answer on availability.

Also, if it just the hose that is broken off, the spud that the hose screws onto can be replaced by it's self

I have not found any outside sourse for this part.
