RV Repair: Twin beds to queen., pace arrow, san marcos texas

Question
I got such a fast and great answer last time, I thought why not try again.
In my 88 Pace Arrow we have twin beds with a night stand between them.  Can I just remove the stand and make the RV a queen bed rv and not twin?
I should be able to move the furnace because its only a hose that looks like I can buy from Home Depot.

You can but consider an idea I saw some time back in an RV:  they had removed everything in the back, carpeted the entire floor and installed a futon bed.  In the daytime it was an extra couch in a room all it's own, at night, fold it down into a bed.  Neat idea!
