RV Repair: electical, toyota tundra, turn signals

19 ft 1979 layton tt.

Scott,
 First time rver here, bought older tt.  Added elecric brakes on 2001 Toyota Tundra.  Trailer has 5 plug round circuit receptacle, with blk, brwn, whte, red, and yellow leads.  When hooked up left turn single works fine, right makes both flash.  Running lites do not work.  Seems to me brn is hooked up to left & red is right.  Yellow is hooked to middle circuit.  What changes do I have to make at the trailer end to make it work properly?

Hi Tom,
Does your truck have amber turn signals? If it does you need to install what we call a 3 to 2 converter on the truck to allow turn and brake signal to use 1 wire.
