Saab Repair: 1984 Saab 900, valve cover gasket, head gasket

Question
Recently bought - seems in good repair/condition, however:
-oil is leaking from an unknown source, small amounts as it is being driven. Possible head gasket?
-heater provides good heat, however air hardly circulates from vents and it takes a while to heat the car.
I would appreciate any leads on what to do re: repairs. Not many mechanics in my area are familiar with Saabs.

Answer
Probably not headgasket related, check valve cover gasket, oilpan gasket, front or rear crankseal. Give the engine a good wash to make it nice 'n' clean so you can more easily spot the oil leak. As far as the vent concern goes, is the fan running properly? I have no indepth 900 knowhow, but heaters are heaters, and as long as the motor is good, the controls work and the aircirculation/direction controls are working then all should be well. Check your control cables, is the air going where it is supposed to?
