Saab Repair: Timing chain, overhead camshafts, interference engine

Hi I am trying to find out where to obtain a repair manual for my 86 SAAB and would like to know if they are an over head cam and if they have two timing chains or one? Any help you could give me would be appreciated.  Thanks April Thomas

Assuming you have the 16 valve engine, your engine has one single timing chain running two overhead camshafts, and it is an INTERFERENCE engine, meaning that valve timing is critical, if the chain breaks then pistons meet valves up close and personal.
