Saab Repair: I own a 1994 SAAB 9000CSE...., fuel delivery system, demonic possesion

Question
I own a 1994 SAAB 9000CSE.  The car has developed trouble starting.  The ignition cassette has been replace as well as the battery.  Local mechanic had stated that low battery voltage, voltage below 11.2, would prohibit proper starting.  Today car would not start, battery voltage 10.5v.  Engine turned over just fine but wouldn't start.  I placed jumpers from my truck to the car, battery voltage read 13.8v, engine still would not start.
Local mechanic indicated to check fuel delivery system.  I was in a remote location without tools so I could not check for proper fuel delivery.  Tried starting engine again, with jumpers still connected, engine started right up.  There was no fuel delivery system intervention.
This starting trouble is intermittant.  Most of the time, when the problem occurs, the engine will start after several attempts.  Once in a while it just will not start.  Turns over just fine though.  Any ideas?

Answer
Unfortunately, most intermittent snags are very hard to diagnose until they fail completely! Does the car do this when warm, or only cold? I do not beleive that you need 11.1 volts or higher to sart the car, my 9000 has started with voltage as low as 9 volts during crank. There are so many things which could cause this.....fuel pump, control relay, faulty ignition switch, faulty ignition system, faulty injection computer, demonic possesion, ETC ETC. I realise this is not much help...sorry...
Try the alt.autos.saab newsgroup, they have been a good source of info for me at times.
