Saturn Repair: New Saturn, saturn sl2, 1995 saturn sl2

Question
Well, I did a test drive on a 1995 Saturn SL2 Manual Trans today, that had over 200,000 miles, and since I need a car Today, and the car drove very well for the price, I paid 600 for it. :) Now for the bad news.  I'm not worried about the air conditioning, I think I can fix it because it sounds like the air compressor comes on, and the fan works, so i just need refrigerant, I guess.  Of course the radio doesn't work, although it's getting power and there is static in speakers.  What I'm really worried about is the windshield wipers not working. :) I know, but it was 600 dollars, and it drove really well.  So anyway I took the car for tires and an oil change and asked them to replace the fuse if it was the fuse, but it wasn't the fuse, so i assume it was the Wiper Motor.  I guess my question is how can I keep the car in good running condition for at least, say, a year.  I read that oil is ver important in Saturns, so what else can I do to help the cute cheap little car around?  Thanks in advance :)

Answer
Mainly, just keep the oil changed every 3000 miles and rotate the tires every other oil change. Most tires come with a lifetime rotation and balance option. Saturns are good cars are long as you watch the maintenance. You may want to get the cooling system flushed and checked out before winter as well. Other than that, you got a deal.
