Saturn Repair: transmission, saturn sl1, 1998 saturn sl1

I have a 1998 saturn sl1. When I first start it and try to put it into gear its sometines will not go into gear.After a while it will.It has no problem on the road.Repair shop says it may be internal. It only happens about twice a month or sometimes when you park it and return. Help

Hi Harold,

Without accually having the car here is pretty hard to diagnose, you might want to go have the car scanned to see if there are and dtc's (diagnostic trouble codes), and then let me know. It could even be a valve body causing this issue........but it's hard to tell right now

Go get it scanned and let me know ok
