Saturn Repair: 2003 Saturn L200 A/T fluid check, 2003 saturn l200, saturn l200

Question
I realize there is no dipstick for checking tranny fluid, however could you run thru the exact process to check fluid please?  My friend has one with only 64k on it and it has just started showing signs of being low on fluid, but of course I now realize basic normal upkeep has been made a stupid hassle for this car.  I need to check the fluid level for her as soon as possible to avoid damage, and I am capable of following your directions to get the reading.  Thanks a TON!

Answer
There is no way to check the fluid. It can only be replaced. When it is filled, it is filled through a small hole on the top of the transmission until it runs out of a little plug on the side of the transmission. But checking it is not possible because the hole that the fluid comes out of is only about a 1/4 inch in diameter. So unlike a manual transmission, you cannot stick in your finger to get a fluid level.
