Saturn Repair: 2000 Saturn SL2 stickshift stalling, 2000 saturn sl2, vacuum leak

Question
My car is stalling often, when idle, and especially when the clutch is pressed.  The "service engine soon" "oil" and "battery" lights come on and I have to restart the car.

Answer
When you are driving the car, do you notice that the service engine soon light is on all the time or not? Also does it seem to be losing it's fuel mileage? There could be a number of reasons for this type of stalling. It could be a simple vacuum leak or there could be a sensor feeding the computer incorrect information. The best bet would be to have it diagnosed at a repair shop so they can see what the computer is seeing at the time of the stall. Newer computers have a function called a freeze frame which is when the computer takes readings from all the main sensors and stores them at the time of failure. This aids in diagnosis. Sorry I could not be of much more help.
