Saturn Repair: 1997 Saturn SL2 Automatic w/air 160K+ Miles, computer control system, 1997 saturn sl2

My Saturn has recently given me service lights blinking - not all the time - just here and there, specifically temp and fluids (will blink a few times and go off).  

Also, when ignition is off and key is out, car continues to "ding" telling human "idiot - take keys out of car, or lights are on", which neither is the case.

Any idea what is going on?  Obviously the car is getting older!  Thanks!

I would recommend taking the vehicle into a shop for further diagnosis. What that light indicates is a problem within the computer control system that does not have an effect on vehicle emissions. The dinging is also control by the BCM which is directly linked to that light. My advice, have the vehicle diagnosed at a repair shop. I'm sorry that I could not be of more help to you.
