Saturn Repair: 2000 LS2 wont start, service engine soon light, security light

I have a 2000 LS2 with the 3.0 v6 and everything has been running well until yesterday my wife went to start it and it turned over no problem but wouldn't fire. I have read many post's talking about the (bcm) but my (service) light isn't on my (service engine soon) light is on. I also read the post's regarding the passlock sensor so I'm trying the 30 minute procedure of turning the ignition on and off every ten minutes. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

 Those are the two most common problems with a 3.0L no-start.  The BCM and the passlock sensor are beasts when it comes to a no-start.  The security light might not come on if you have a BCM problem.  The only real thing to do is to scan the codes, if you have many erroneous or unrelated codes, you can probably blame the BCM.  Other than that I can't say for sure.  Hope this helps.
