where can I get a reliabe 99 SL Saturn engine to buy? I am no expert.

 That depends on what kind of engine you need.  For a new engine, I would talk to CITY MOTORS in the Dallas, TX area or GREENLEAF, in the same area.  They offer long blocks at reasonable prices.  If you are looking for a used engine, find the largest junkyard that is close to you.  The larger junkyards tend to carry warranties for what they sell you.  If you get it used, make SURE you buy the warranty.
