Saturn Repair: Saturn SL2 starting problem, spark plug wires, saturn sl2

Question
Lately my Saturn Sl2 has become extremely difficult to start.  I have to hold down the gas and it sputters even after it starts for a minute or two.  Some other times it starts just fine.  I have changed the spark plugs and added fuel injector cleaner.  Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!

Answer
Hi Tanya,
Hmmm...this is tough one.  I have never heard of HOLDING THE GAS DOWN making it EASIER.  Typically, that would cause it to flood and be very hard to start...so, I am leaning towards thinking that it is a Blocked Fuel Supply...but that would make the car run poorly all the time, not just after starting.  So, that doesn't leave a whole lot of easy solutions.  Maybe the spark plug wires but, again, I would thing that you would experience rough running all the time, not just after start.
I hate to say it, but I think this may be a case of diagnosis by a Shop... maybe the Dealer but I really don't care for dealerships...they tend to over estimate the problem and ring up a big bill.  It could be something really simple but the delaer would likely NOT TELL YOU THAT!  An independant garage or auto repair place may be the better choice.
I feel bad that I haven'tgot an answer for you but I really don't.
