Saturn Repair: ignition, spark plug wires, firing order

Question
what positions do the spark plug wires go from plugs to coil. my son pulled them off without marking them. i understand firing order is 1-3-4-2

I am very sorry to say that I can't explain it well enough to ensure that you'd get it back in the right order.  BUT, the Haynes Saturn Manual explains it pictorally and does a very good job.  I think it is about $13-16 at most autoparts stores, like AutoZone.
Again, I would hate to mis inform you by trying to describe it without a picture.  But, the #1 cylinder is the end closest to the FRONT of the engine (which is the side that faces the passenger side).  The coil is the hard part to try and describe #1 on...the book will show you and it'll make sence.  PLUS, It is such a good book to have for general info and basic  (and advanced) repairs!
