can i replace the vacuum fuel pump with a electric fuel pump.

or do i have to put a pressure switch in to control the pressure the electric pump will make

I have read articles discussing the electric fuel pump install.  You will have to find a very low pressure electric fuel pump or use a regulator to lower the output pressure of the electric fuel pump.

Most of the articles state you only need 2-6 psi of pressure for the fuel pump.  This is constant with normal operation as we pressure test carbs to make sure they do not leak...we only pump them up to 2-6 psi as the carburetor inlet needle will pop open at any higher pressure.
