after new battery and solenoid it wont even do anything and new spark please  please help model 40508x92 12.5 horse 42 inch cut it wont even click over

Safety or interlock switch problem?

How many small wires does the solenoid have, 1 or 2?

If you have only 1 small wire, take a clip lead and connect one end to the solenoid small wire post and then touch the other end of the clip lead to the positive battery terminal and see if the solenoid clicks.  If it does the solenoid is working and you have a interlock/safety switch problem.
