Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper Hydrostatic

Question
Hi, My Snapper is blowing fluid out of resevoir on top of trans.
Blew off 2 caps.
Any idea whats up?

Too much pressure?  Clogged vent tube?  What is the mower model number?

The most common reasons Harold, in order of probability:
1. overfilled
2. still contains OE "fluid"
3. does NOT contain non-foaming hydraulic fluid
or any combination of the above.
4. air leak

Have you recently performed any service to the hydrostatic unit such as adding fluid, changing the filter, changing the belt?
