Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kawasaki bayou 220 engine repurpose?

Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I'm more of a welder/fabricator so i need your advice on maybe reusing the engine and some other bits and pieces from my Kawasaki bayou 220 to build my own small engine motorcycle. So is the engine sufficient for the speed and power needed? Can it even be done? I have many more questions but we can start here for now.

ANSWER: Hello. This sounds like it will be an interesting build. The engine is a 17HP so it will be powerful enough but not so sure on speed it would probably go about 45 MPH. It could be done you will just have to make motor mounts and support it right. Please ask more questions I am interested in helping you.
