Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): new electric pto clutch does nothing when pull knob to engage

Husqvarna 24hp intek twin model 96045000300 ser 010506B002873 with briggs 445677-0476-e1 I replaced electric pto clutch and when I pull button to engage nothing happens checked clutch with multimeter got a reading of 3.7 ohms. old pto clutch I replaced it ripped the wires from the main harness and tore up the antirotation link when it seized up and blew the fuse and another fuse now do you think I need anew main wiring harness I don't get anything no clicking sound nothing.

Sounds like you are not getting voltage to the clutch,you will have to check the wiring harness to make sure that when you turn the key on you get voltage to the PTO switch,then pull the PTO and check output voltage you will need the wiring schematic to see what wire goes where.This number 96045000300 does not match any mower on my Husqvarna site. try going to this web site http://www.husqvarna.com/au/home/ to see if you can find your mower. if not look at this diagram to see if it yours.
