Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): oil in trans, transaxel, transmission model

have an old ,about 1995 widebody murry,cannnot find any numbers on it.how do I put oil or what ever in transaxel,it is hydrostatic ,need to oil or not

The transaxle or hydro will be marked with a manuafacturer name and a model number.  You may have a Peerless hydro unit.
