Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Throttle linkage 7HP briggs & stratton, http www youtube, briggs and stratton

QUESTION: I'm trying to hook up the throttle linkage on a Briggs and Stratton 7hp motor. Its a 170402 series with a governor. Complete number is:170402 1515 01 81100212.

I can not find a diagram anywhere that details the correct spring placement.

QUESTION: the video is a vertical shaft engine. The linkage / spring set up is much different on the 7hp horizontal shaft listed above. I had looked at the video previously and it was no help.

Did you try searching Google images for "briggs and stratton governor linkage diagrams".  Many of the diagrams are scanned in from the repair manual.
