Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 28V707/1170-E1, filter change, oil drain

Question
Novice here.  Why is all the gas leaking into my oil?  Can it be repaired/rebuilt or replaced?  Thanks

Answer
Yes, it can be repaired.  It's very common, a leaky carburetor inlet needle.  The cheapest, and easist fix it to just install a fuel shut-off valve in the fuel line.  Everytime you are done using the mower just shut off the fuel...no leak.

You MUST change the oil to get all the old oil/gas out of the engine.  Refill with new oil.  Often times we change and re-fill the oil a couple of time to make sure all the gas is out of the engine and engine oil.  If you hve an oil filter change it as well.  If you change the oil a couple of times I would just replace the oil filter on the second oil drain and re-fill that way you only need to buy one oil filter.
