This older 12 inch chainsaw may have been manufactured by Poulan (is it a Poulan 20 or a Poulan 25?)and then sold through Sears.  I get no spark and was told by a local repair guy that the coil is bad but he can't get parts.  Could you confirm the manufacturer and lead me to someone who might have the coil?

Yes this is a Poulan Chainsaw it is either a 20D Gas Chain Saw or a 20 Saw. The correct Part # is Part Number: 530039057 Lead-High Tension, You may for it on e-bay
