Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): electic fuel pump, electric fuel pump, briggs stratton

I have a 26 hp briggs stratton on a craftsman tractor mower is it possable to install a eletic fuel pump on this enigne if so where would i be able to buy one

I have never saw an electric fuel pump on a mower.  If one were to install an electric fuel pump you would have to use a regulator to reduce the pressure probably to somewhere between 3-5 psi since most mower carbs are designed to seal/stop fuel flow around 5 psi.

Summit Racing sells fuel pumps and regulators.  However most are automotive style with 5/16 or larger line.  You mower uses 1/4 fuel line.

A marine supply store may have a more applicable electric fuel pump for a mower application.

Does the engine have a vacuum fuel pump?
